About Tony & Lawrence: Tony Brussat and Lawrence Newcomb are a rare find - a duo authentically steeped in the golden age of American music. Tony, who spent a decade fronting Austin's Jazz Pharaohs and touring with the legendary Asylum Street Spankers, brings masterful guitar work and warm vocals to songs from the 1910s through the 1950s, believing that "even the sweetest melodies will have a touch of the blues." Lawrence adds the essential clarinet voice of traditional New Orleans and pre-war jazz, drawing on his experience with ensembles including the Southern Oregon Jazz Orchestra, Bathtub Gin Serenaders, and symphonic wind orchestras throughout the Bay Area and Rogue Valley. Together they deliver an authentic early jazz experience with a repertoire of over 200 songs from the true golden age of American songwriting - the sound of a bygone era, brought to life. Meet Skyler:  Long time southern Oregon musician and Ashland resident Skyler Squglio has spent the last 20 years dedicated to the craft of live music performance and the pursuit of musicianship. Skyler moved to Ashland in 2008 from his coastal hometown Reedsport Oregon with the intention to play as much music as possible in the Rogue valley and beyond. Since then he has toured from Los Angeles to New York City , from Seattle to Asheville North Carolina and even played in Alaska and Hawaii.  Previously playing in bands such as the mighty 100 Watt Mind (which he wrote most of the songs for) local legends Frankie Hernandez band and most recently Free Creatures, he is now focused more on his original music which is a blend of heartfelt, melodic singer/songwriter style combined with soulful lead guitar solos made possible with the help of a loop pedal. He released a solo record in 2022 titled “Patterns” and has over 30 original songs, some of which are in regular rotation on JPR radio. Meet Nathan Stone and Jack Hopfinger:

the dynamic duo behind HopStone—a band born from an open mic in Southern Oregon and fueled by over two years of musical synergy. With a wide-ranging repertoire that spans classic rock, country, soul, and more; HopStone brings a fresh yet timeless sound to every stage they grace. Nathan Stone's rich vocal versatility allows him to switch seamlessly from soulful, soft croons to gritty, masculine tones, all while delivering heartfelt performances. His extensive touring along the West Coast and across the U.S. for nearly two decades has seen him open for legends like Leon Russell, Tim Reynolds, and Brandi Carlile, and participate in numerous music festivals along the West Coast. Jack Hopfinger’s virtuoso guitar skills echo the styles of Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler, and Larry Carlton. With over 40 years of experience, Jack has earned a reputation as a versatile, fluid, and highly respected guitarist. His impressive resume includes opening for icons such as Robben Trower, Curtis Salgado, Robert Cray, Junior Brown, The Subdudes, John Mayall, Gino Vannelli, and Los Lonely Boys, as well as performing with Jim Belushi’s band and the local Southern Oregon act J Brothers. Jack’s one-man-band performance setup—combining lead guitar, vocals, and drum beats created with a “mad scientist” rig using a cajon, modified drum pedals, a looper, and samples—is a show-stopping element that helps set HopStone apart from other acts. Influenced by iconic artists like Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, and Tom Petty; HopStone’s influences are woven into their eclectic live performances. Whether performing at wineries, taphouses, festivals, or public events, HopStone’s unique song selections and engaging stage presence make each show memorable.
